Oh, We're Halfway There

Technically, there's like a day left until the oh-six but still, I think it's pretty appropriate to have a review of what happened the first half of the year.

JANUARY & FEBRUARY
To be honest, January and February went by so fast because of work. I did deal with a lot of stress from the bosses, but nothing I couldn't handle. There was a particular project that got me all jittery BUT in the end, it all worked out. Also, these months were my ~negativity months~ and I started to doubt every.single.thing.

MARCH
I finally got around to fixing this site (oh, technically, I finished the site around the last week of Feb) and convinced myself to go back to blogging. My Accenture contract expired and I was preparing for our US trip. Actually, March pretty summed up how much I'll travel this year. I even dedicated a blog series for my summer trips which can be read here and here. And as always, I haven't started on the other trips yet. I am getting around it, I promise!

APRIL
VACATION.VACATION.VACATION. I couldn't stress enough how wonderful and amazing our US 2012 trip was. I still have major hangovers with the Islands of Adventure in Florida and our Disney Cruise. And that's only HALF of our trip. Liek. Just. OMG. I have no words, really.

I was also given the opportunity to work on our company's website which, I admit, I haven't been focusing on. I know it's bad enough that I'm letting this out on the open (because prospective clients might see this as being unprofessional) but rest assured, really, that I have learned this lesson and this will not be taken lightly. *bangs head on wall*

MAY
Been trying to focus more on my layout skills on photographs rather than layout skills on the website. But, you know, I can use that to my advantage. Unfortunately, I still haven't figured it out YET because I am truly EASILY distracted. Wrong timing to channel my inner child right? What's happening to me?

ALSO, I had 2 local trips too- Zambales and Coron. Of course, you'd have to wait for my upcoming posts about the trips so you better watch out!

ALSO ALSO, I attended a 3-day blogging workshop c/o Arriane. Seriously- this has helped me A LOT with blogging even though I failed to showed up on the last day (I wasn't feeling very well). Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to collaborating with my new friends :) Very very exciting stuff (kahit wala pa akong napaplanong concrete about collaborating)!!

So pretty much, 2012 is sort of awesome despite major setbacks this May. I'll get over it (I hope) and I'll keep you all posted!
