Summer Part Two: Cruise with me Baby (Florida, USA)

Again, before anything else I would just like to say: HELLO! How is the blogosphere? How are you Jenn (lol my only follower)?

My apologies once more for not updating as often. I've been battling jet lag for 2 weeks now; I guess my body is in denial of how AWESOME our trip to the US is that it's not trying to adjust to the normal Philippine time. As a result, my eyes are carrying cargos again. Hey body clock, we need to talk.

Anyway, going back. On to the ~adventure~

This is the second of a 4-part series for Summer 2012. The first one can be read over here. Please also do note that Part two is split into three. (Henceforth, this post will be called Part 2.1)

I know, I know-  Cruisin' is usually associated with old (retired) people but what if I tell you that the cruise we had is a DISNEY one?

Yep, you read right: We went on a DISNEY freaking CRUISE. Amazing no? Of course it is! Let me be clear though- a Disney Cruise is not a ship that will bring you to the nearest Disney Amusement Park. It's a Disney owned ship which means the THEME of the ship is all things DISNEY. The one we rode had a 4-night itinerary to the Bahamas and Disney's own private island Castaway Cay (pronounced Castaway KEY). Can I just say that I've completely fallen in love with this whole cruise thing that I won't go on any vacation unless it's a cruise? #brat (lolwat why am I hashtagging on a blog post?)

Anyway, I'm not much of a talker and I'm not much of a GOOD photographer too so these pictures will have to make do:

Disney Dream Cruise Ship. Huge!

Welcome Aboard! Yeah, there are official photographers for the trip
It's a family room with a verandah. The room is small, obviously
Send off Party!
Day 2: Arriving at Nassau, Bahamas
My parents found Atlantis!! (Meh, Bahamas was pretty boring tbh)
Day 3: Arriving at Disney's Castaway Cay
This is the closest picture we've got of the beach. Come on now, how will we enjoy the beach if we're gonna take pictures of it?
I'm letting it out there- my dad rode this. It's called the Aqua-Duck and if it isn't obvious yet, it's an indoor-ish slide of sorts.
Day 4 was at sea so there no pictures, really. Just this one as the theme for that night was PIRATES (Pirates of the Caribbean to be exact) and there were fireworks! Apparently, only THE Disney Cruise Line is permitted to showcase fireworks in the middle of the sea. (There's a video of it, but meh, I'm too lazy to upload)
Oh wait! Here's another picture from that night! It's our main server, Jayson! He's Filipino btw (Come on, that spelling! It's SO Pinoy) and he cooked Adobo for us during dinner. Really nice guy!
A random Castaway Cay photo appears! Yeah, I totally forgot we had this picture

Some random shots from the Cruise comin' up:

Near a restaurant. This is definitely the Third deck lol
I had braids! I've convinced myself that I totally rock this look. I'm tempted to shave that side of my head. Your thoughts?
Some resort in Bahamas. Took this picture while the ship was docking.
Going back to the ship because it was too hot. It was after lunch and we don't want to burn.
Us again. My parents are obviously hiding by the shade. Genuine happiness right durrr.
My dad. Hai Bahamas!
Some sculpture of sort in Atlantis. Seeee I told you it was boring

I really kinda miss the cruise already, especially Castaway Cay. I mean how couldn't I miss it? We have this ridiculous summer weather here and this heat is pushing my limits JEEZAS. I need the beach ASAP.

I'm now saving up all my money for a Mediterranean Cruise. Wait for me, Europe! :)
