I know, I know. I'm sorry I'm still not blogging as much as I promised myself I should (
Anyway, moving on.
Part of my 2012 goals is to go back to blogging. Go back to blogging? You stopped blogging? Yep, I started blogging waaaaaaaay back in 2003, during my crazy fangirling ways with Formula One hottie, Kimi Raikkonen. (Okay, I'm stopping myself because that's for another entry)
Now everybody's suddenly blogging that it's really hard to stand out and get followers to read yours right? Right. Enter Arriane's creative blogging workshop BLOGWORTHY. It's a 3-day workshop where she'll guide you to make your blog super amazing. Exciting isn't it?
Day 1 basically tackled building our personal brand for our blogs. Arriane made us reflect on our personalities, passions, and our strengths so we can have an idea on which direction our blog should follow. I admit, I'm the sort of person that HATES doing self-reflections (because for me, it requires emotion and I have tons of emotional baggage that I don't want to touch at all) but I knew I needed to do that at some point, so I grew a backbone and dealt with it. I was surprised that I actually had a good feeling about it because I finally had the courage to dig deep into myself and find my blog's direction. (LOL it feels like I was going on a retreat, not a blogging workshop) Unfortunately though, my day job kept interrupting me and I was immediately out of sync with the group (I am terribly TERRIBLY sorry) come worksheet 3. Note to self: Never EVER underestimate Fridays.
Luckily, even though I had very little me-time, I think I managed to know which path I'm going to take and I'll let you guess it. Hardihar. Let's see if:
- I can manage to pull it off.
- People can guess it.
As part of the workshop, we get to have this lovely toolkit! Ch-check it out below:
Woohoo! Can't wait for the next workshop! 1 down, 2 to go! :)
